Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineer

Co-Mac Group Ltd, a family-owned business specializing in a wide range of engineering hard-to-find hardware, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineer. We pride ourselves on our values-first approach and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.

As a key member of our maintenance / manufacturing team, you will play a crucial role in producing prototype products and conducting quality testing to ensure compliance with specifications.

Your expertise in designing and building jigs, fixtures, and machinery will be invaluable in enhancing operational efficiencies. Additionally, you will collaborate with our products team, assisting them with various tasks. Proficiency in welding, lathe work, and machining is essential, as you will be involved in fabricating and modifying components.

Skills & Experience:

· Proficiency in welding, lathe work and machining.

· General tools and maintenance.

· Know your way around a workshop.

· Health and Safety minded.

· Values first approach.

Responsibilities:

· General maintenance of a warehouse / packaging department.

· Testing products for quality and compliance with specifications.

· Designing and building jigs / fixtures / machinery to improve efficiencies.

· Assisting the products team.

· Welding, Lathe work, Machining.

· Designing and making products as required.

· Being part of a team that designs new products for engineers.

· Manufacturing prototype products.
